Problem Charging from a Generator and PV – Conversol MKS-II (S5) High PV Voltage
Connect MKS-II to generator. The generator will charge at 2KW with the PV turned off, but nothing with them turned on.
If I turn on my load to the house I get 3KW and in that situation it will accept me turning on one of the strings of PV to one of the inverters while remaining giving an output of 3KW. If I try to turn on the other string of PV the generator gives 0KW.
What are the setting for the generator to charge the batteries at the same time as the PV?

If you confirmed Program 16 is set to SNU & Program 03 is set to APL then please check the LCD display if the AC input Icon is ON when the Generator is connected?
If possible, please share us the video about the LCD display operating when the generator is connected for clarification.

According to his settings, the inverter would stop the AC charger when the battery reaches to 51Vdc and the AC charger would enable when the battery voltage is 48Vdc. This window is very small.
What’s the battery he connected? Did you confirm 54Vdc is the suitable charging voltage? What’s the battery voltage when the inverter does not accept the inverter? You could also check the result is you adjust Program 1 to UTI to check if the AC charger could work or not?
Setting the parameter to charge Lithium Ion Batteries PYLONTECH US2000
1. In order to make sure the inverters could work with the DG, he needs to configure the Program 1 to UTI. Under this mode, the inverter would work in Bypass mode. If the inverters could accept the DG as AC grid input, the inverter would charge the battery and provide the output from DG directly.
2. If item 1 is confirmed then it means the inverters would work with that DG. According to the setting proposals from Pylontech, he would need to change the Program 26/27 to 53.2Vdc. The rest configurations are OK. I would like to remind you that with below configurations, the inverter would work in inverter mode (without using the AC grid) when the battery voltage is within 48-51Vdc. The inverters would only work with the DG after the battery voltage is less than 48Vdc but the inverters would resume to inverter mode after the battery is charged to higher than 51Vdc as the cycles.

Setting 12:
The Program 01 is set to SBU. Hence, the inverter would only accept the AC grid power when the battery voltage is less than 46Vdc (in Setting 12). You could check the result by changing Program 01 to USb to check the result.
The generator with variable frequency does not connect to Axpert King of Voltacon V5

Axpert King is with the Online UPS topology. Due to this reason, the requirement of DG performance is better than Axpert models. It’s due to when the Axpert King is working in Online mode, the inverter needs to do the phase lock. If the output frequency of the DG output is variable then the Axpert King could not lock the phase then it would not switch to Online mode. You could set the Program 10 to ECO to see if the inverter would work in Bypass mode to charger the battery or not?
How to revert from a parallel mode with 3 inverters back to single mode
If by accident you put your inverter in 3-phase-mode and you have to put it back in the single mode please referrer to the answer below
As the panel shows P1, it means you selected the first phase of three phase mode. If you want to start the machine as single phase, please set up the ON/OFF button to OFF first, and then set up as PAL mode at LCD setting program NO.28.
Revert to from parallel to single mode
I could not access the link. But the parallel mode configuration must be done when the inverter is in standby mode. Please turn off the main switch with battery or AC grid connected then click the switch shortly to turn ON the LCD display. Then you could press the setting key to enter the setting mode.
Error 57 in MKS-II, Axpert, Conversol 5Kw 48V inverter
You should only need to change the control board with this Error code. The main board should be OK.
What does Error 20 in Remote Control LCD display
it should support the remote panel. Please clarify with the customer if he also did the jumper configuration on the communication board?
