The serial to RJ45 ethernet port cable is delivered with your solar inverter, the picture below illustrates the chain of connection. Using this set up your computer will recognise the inverter as an external device. You need to go to Control Panel —> Device Manager –> Port and check which port the inverter is connected (USB1 , USB2 etc etc)
