In off grid and grid-tie photovoltaic systems with energy storage, a group of 2 or more inverter feeds one common battery bank. The inverters of the same brand with identical firmware operate in parallel mode with communication cards and communication cables. The inverter share information between them such as current and load sharing, charging voltage, etc.
The 5kW Axpert/Conversol with BMS compatibility for Pylontech batteries operates in parallel mode. In this scenario, only one inverter with BMS is connected to the Pylontech US2000 battery (the master inverter). It is important to select PYL for charging the Pylon batteries. The “slave” inverters are set to USE (user battery mode).
