This is not a very common error but it is related to the failure of integrated circuits on the BMS card (battery management system). The ICs monitor the voltage of the cells , the value is very crucial for the correct balancing of the battery.

The safest option here is to get a brand new BMS card from an authorised distributor or even better return your battery for them to repair it.
