In this brief article we put together the key characteristics of two very popular solar inverters / chargers. The Conversol MKS II (2nd generation) is compared with the VMII 5kW off-grid inverter. Both devices output a pure sinewave voltage of 230VAC with selectable charging current from 10Amp to 80Amp. Voltacon integrated the latest MPPT algorithm on each unit with 99% efficiency. Technically that means a more accurate tracking of the PV power at any time with minium loss of power less than 1%.

Here, we recommend the wiring connection of solar panels with power rating from 250W to 315W
The minimum requirement of solar panels is 4 in series for the 5kW inverters with MPPT window 120-450V.
